This is a culinary, large-leaved sage variety. Used both dried and fresh, sage leaves are a popular poultry and meat seasoning. Sage also makes a soothing tea. While a sage plant is in its prime, it makes an attractive addition to both herb gardens and ornamental borders. Pruning after flowering will keep the plant from getting too leggy or woody.
